TP buttons wont work! Help.
 

ok guys been here for a while but this is my first post, i just got my touch pro and it was working great, however the buttons randomly stopped working, [end key, home key, call key, back key, and center ok key, touch sensitivity doesnt work either,] volume and power button work and touch screen works normal but i cant fiqure out whats wrong with the buttons, any help is appreciated thanks in advanced.

Bad phone, mine started doing this after a couple of months. At first I thought it was related to some of the 6.5 ROMS I was trying. Got mine exchanged through warranty.

Did you try doing a hard reset or flashing the stock shipped rom?

This has happened to me also, but i just dont know if i should give up $100 for broken buttons

I think if you call sprint and let them know the problem, they should be willing to replace the phone due to defective hardware....Its not like you intentionally disabled the phone or anything, and they will be able to see that is merely defective and the service center should just replace it for you. Take it in to your nearest service store and show them whats happening and they will be more than willing to help you...if they don't, just threaten to cancel your contract and go to a carrier with better customer service/relations and they will fold guaranteed...Ive had to do this a few times. Hope that helps bro :)

mine was doing that and i took it to the sprint store. They gave me a brand new one free of charge.

thanks for the help guys im probably gonna take it to a service center sometime this week see how things go.
