On Sprint? I dont think so i think its due to sprint having a cdma network as opposed to a gsm one like att... thats why that option is on the fuze and not the touch pro

The only reason that is an option on that ROM is because it was originally a GSM ROM ported to CDMA.

Did you notice you don't have a camera on the front of your Sprint TP? You could do 1-way video calls I guess but I don't think anyone wants to do that..

Are u sure that there isn't a camera? Booklet says something about two cameras and if you look in the speaker part of the phone there is something in there on the left side.. I'll try to post a picture later. I haven't been able to access this camera but I think thats what it is. If it isn't please correct me to what it really is.

K, ill be the one 2 correct you... thats a light sensor the over seas gsm version of the TP is the only version that has dual camera's and i've read that our speeds out here in the U.S. arent fast enough to do video calling yet(could b wrong) but thats wut the info says. Just like everyone else was saying it was a gsm rom port over to cdma so some of the stuff that gsm user have is prob still in there. There is a program for cdma users(can remember what its called) to use for video calls buts its kinda stupid because in order to do it you'd need a mirror to be able to get the full effect outta it.

I'm pretty sure what you're referring to is the ambient light sensor to automatically adjust the backlight.

It's not that the speeds aren't fast enough, it's just that the company's believe that video call would not be profitable enough in a US market, i sale cellphones and the average customer doesn't even want a touch screen, and about 10% get a data plan (by the way i understand that this is area specific) but you can video conference I have done it successfully before with this VZOmobile

I stand corrected.. but i just think trying to video chat without a front facing camera kinda sux cuz you cant see the person your talking 2 unless you have a mirror or something i guess us geeks would like it but that stats prove otherwise
