What all is needed to activate a phone?
I've tried to do some searching and have only found bits and pieces but here's my question.
On a CDMA network, what is needed in order for a phone to work on that companies network? I know the MEID has to be in their database (like verizon) but what else besides programming those two numbers on your phone? Reason i ask is because i'm planning on using CDMA workshop to change the ESN of my Sprint Touch PRO to my old HTC windows mobile phone that i used to use on verizon. So as long as i have everything programmed the same in the touch pro as would be on the other phone and the esn is in their database everything should work good...right? Thanks for the help guys! |
Re: What all is needed to activate a phone?
short answer is verizon is not activating sprint phones. and don't discuss cloning.

That still doesn't answer my question. I KNOW that the are not activating phones. That's not what i asked. Thanks for being so helpful.
