WM 6.5 texting is SLOW
 

Every WM 6.5 rom I've tried is slow. I think I just proved it's the 6.5 messaging though. I just typed a message in the Rhodium contact card text msging box and there is NO lag. However, the standard windows texting has crazy lag. Go figure.

Do you guys get the same results?

I can tell you that I use Merdin's awesome 6.5 ROM. I use Vito SMS-Chat & mapped the center round button to open it with a dbl click. I use TouchPal 3.5 KB in portrait mode using T+ & I get ZERO lag. That combination responds as fast as I can move my fingers.......

Of course using the SIP has no lag. I'm talking about with the hard keyboard.

try juicy or mighty's latest... they both use a ezinput2 that gets rid of that lag

That's funny. Ez input only adds to the lag IMO.
