Who here has had to return their Touch Pro :(
This is terrific. I finally invest in a good body kit for my Touch Pro to protect it, only for the keyboard to just stop working. There's no way I'll get these strips off in usable condition, so I lose my whole body kit. On top of that I get to enjoy getting someone's hodgepodge refurb instead of the brand new phone I bought.
This really steams me. :violent2: If I'd known that the Touch Pro was such a flimsy phone I would have just went with Verizon and bought an Omnia :angry7: Anyone know if I could make the Omnia work on Alltel? |

What kind of body kit did you get? Erebuni, Wings West or a generic from AndysAutoSport.com?

More like the BodyGuardz transparent film kit.

I thought those were supposed to be reusable? But can see where it would be a real hassle having to migrate it from one device to another. Hopefully you'll have luck with your exchange. I had to exchange mine only once, "knock on wood", so far so good. I received a NIB device. My buddies on the other hand stated that they received defective NIB equipment and were in turn given refurbs that are in working order. I didn't mind picking up a refurb during my Mogul days, so long as it works. Hopefully this will be the only exchange that you need.

The Omnia does not have a keyboard. You would be better off with the Diamond. The Omnia is not that great, I have used it.

I had to replace 1 (lost) but got a nib :)
I have 2 and have a few friends with them, none have had this issue, but apparently some builds have an issue with the keyboard connection. if you want you could just pop it apart and re-attatch the connector and put some tape to hold it... there's a thread in here somewhere with a how-to |

Sorry to hear that bro. I haven't had to replace mine yet, & hopefully, when I do it will be the TP2 taking it's place. You won't necessarily get a refurb though, it's whatever they have in stock...

I am number 5, all for the same problem. The switch that is activated by the stylist either sticks or falls out.

You qualify for the lemon law. I'd be cutting my contract if I had to go through that many. |
