So whats the downside to My Phone?
This was about the easiest backup I have ever done. To easy. I must be missing something that it wont do when I need it the most. If anyone knows any downfall to My Phone please let me know.

Re: So whats the downside to My Phone?
The downside IMHO is your posting all your personal info on a public server (something I would never even consider doing)
There are plenty of ways to BU your stuff & keep it private. ~John |
Re: So whats the downside to My Phone?
Thousands of people have instant access to your "Sensitive" personal records. Who you ask?
Your ISP employees have access to your Email DMV employees IRS employess Phone/Cell company employees Credit Agencies employees, Equifax, TransUnion, etc Your Bank/Credit Union employees Your credit card company employees Your mortgage company employees This list could get long so I will stop. The point is, why sweat backing up your contacts to a web page. Even if someone looked at your contacts, who would care. Re: So whats the downside to My Phone?
What I'm talking about goes way beyond a few phone numbers.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, then don't sweat it -it won't apply to you. Since the info is easily backed up locally anyway, there is absolutely no reason whatever to store it on a public server. ~John |
