Sprint Touch Pro to Bell

I'm looking at getting a Sprint locked Touch Pro from ebay that I would like to use on the Bell network. I know it has to be unlocked. Is there anything else I would have to do?

I've read around in the forums that bell will not activate a phone from a different carrier. The esn has to be in their database or it's a nogo. If anyone has gotten around this, please chime in. http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1107437
