Help choosing a rom

I've already unlocked and thrown a few random roms on my Raphael but keep finding roms that don't meet my general needs. Please suggest a rom for me.

I would like:
Opera
SkyFire
No TouchFLO
GPS with Google
Gmail possibly forward emails to my phone with some app?
Google calendar?
Youtube
Pandora or Pocketlastfm.net
Tether?
Remote to home computer?
Permanent landscape view?

Thanks for your help.

theres not gonna be one ROM out there that meets all of your needs. find a good stable ROM and do all of your mods yourself. im using mighty r3born.

The easiest thing to do is to make your own, to be quite honest with you. Download PPCKitchen and have at it! It can be a little intimidating, but it is fairly simple. If you have problems there are soooooo many threads on here about it, and there's actually a sticky'd (permanent) one at the top of the TP forum. I've tried a few different ROMs amd they all have their good points and bad points. If you make your own, you can't complain to anyone and you can make your own changes. And for what it's worth, after you select everything you want it takes about 5 minutes to load the ROM and boot-up for the first time. In a couple of hours you could have a dozen different ROMs.

If you use a ROM kitchen, you can 'cook' your own ROM to your liking. I'm pretty sure they keep the database pretty updated, so your cooked ROMs should be pretty stable.

1. Check
2. Check
3. Check (disabled, you can essentially disable it in any ROM).
4. Check
5. Check (go to google.com click on mobile [more/even more then down to the right "go mobile"] it will give you some options)
6. Check with #5
7. Check
8. Check (cabs are available)
9. Check
10.Check (may not have to tweak, there should be an option in settings, much like in 6.1 [try Start\Settings\Systems\Screen\Orientation = choose Landscape, TF3D auto disables this even after choosing]. The flow may be a little different in 6.5.

Thanks for your replies.

I downloaded MightyRom5 and will flash it tomorrow.

After watching a few Pro2 videos it would seem the 6.5 is a much better OS due to its responsiveness. The reason I want to go permanent landscape is I hate the time it takes to flip between the two.

Do you guys suggest going with a 6.5 rom? Android?

Re: Help choosing a rom

yes and no, 6.5 is by far better than the older versions but is not completely reliable yet, there have been problems reported with the phone canvas(where u dial the numbers) and many other things that don't quite work right. the older versions are slower and all but everything works..............

The TP2 is not running WinMo6.5, it is running 6.1 (latest build, I think) and TF3D2 which is optimized to the processor, ram and screen.
