Can't sync after flashing
 

I have been trying different roms on my TP and after one flash I can no longer sync with my pc via activesync on XP or WMDC on vista, but it still charges. I have tried to reflash with the same ROM (Energy 5/24) and then other roms such as MR5 and Juicy7 and still cannot sync. I have reinstalled active sync and WMDC multiple times, tried to sync on new computer, disabled fast disk transfer, tried jump starting with ICS, used different USB ports and cables, and still have no luck. Today my phone started to think that the usb cable was the tv out. I tried to set up a BT sync but the initial sync needs to be via usb. I work in IT Network Security and have experience with malfunctioning devices, but this really has me stumped. I only make mods to my TP as a hobby and have very little time because of work to fully dedicate my time to fix this problem. This problem is probably hardware-based, but I want to avoid having to flash to stock and relocking and then returning to sprint through replacement. Hopefully one of you PPC gurus have experience with this problem and can provide me with a fix so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've got the same problem.

I had the same problem before the flash, but managed to fix it by going into settigns > connections > USB something.

Unforunately, that USB option isn't available in the ROM I used

You also may want to try to reinstall active sync - there seems to be a few issues with flashing and syncing.
