Internet jumping from Evdo to 1x and back and forth

Hey everyone.
I was wondering if anyone has similar issues with their TP.

When browsing the web, I log in with EVDO and surf for about 10 minutes then realize that the network is slow, and that it jumped to 1x. After a few minutes, it goes back to evdo, then back and forth.
Both signals are good (between 2-4 bars)

Is there anyway, I can manually set it to one or the other?

We have been seeing this behavior in Middle TN. on Verizon with multiple phone models for a while now.

Ev only mode {EvDo/EvDon't} 3g from Sprint, now you see it, now you don't see it, {LOL} the software you guys are looking for is below, never ever leave home without this software on your TP, because you will need it again....{lol}:headbang::drunken::mrgreen:

You set it to the mode you want via Start> Settings> Phone> Service> Scroll until you see "Mode Of Operation", Highlight it, Tap "Get settings", now select the Mode Of Operation that you want, Tap OK....:drunken:

Ok, just a reminder, in the Ev mode only, you cannot receive calls, this is a temporary fix, after you finish in the Ev mode only, always set it back to the "Hybrid Mode"....:mrgreen:
