W6.5 Media Player(s) Performance?!
 

Can anybody confirm one way or the other the performance of 6.5 video performance compared to 6.1?

Videos seem to bog down the phone and where I remember Orb streaming smoothly it will not. Not buffering just stuttering.

Using a 40MB PP and the Omnia drivers.

Both WMP and Core are similar.

it seems ok on Energy Rom i'm using. I've never had a problem with it. You have a 40 meg Page Pool? WHY?!?

I tried a number of different PP and it seemed the best.
Cooking a ROM with the same options with less PP just to see if it's a ROM issue.

to be honest i've never really noticed much if any difference in performance when increasing my page pool over 16 megs. I usually leave it at 12 or 16 and enjoy the extra RAM.
