AVI Files Play On PC WMP But Not on Coreplayer
 

Is there any way i can get the avi files to play? i dont understand why it wont play on the phones media player or core player but they play on the computers windows media player. are there any other media players that would be able to play all types of audio and video files?

This is not a direct asnswer to the question, but may be helpful: If you use the video out feature at all, I'd suggest converting the avi's to wmp's and using WMP. You can then watch your shows / movies, and also can use WMP to watch them on your TV, without the blue flicker that occurs in Coreplayer.

ok Ill finish, follow the instructions in the posts and you will play all!! I dont convert (16gig card:mrgreen:) I just click and play, you might want to check it out bujin, he just updated!!!

i tried that and still im getting errors that it cant play certain avi files

i play avi on my coreplayer with no problems, what version you running?

.avi is just a container, it can have mpeg data in it that's in any number of codecs. Could just be that whatever codec it is (use gspot to find out) isn't supported on anything mobile (Tech1 is awesome but even his magic has limits).

OK, click on that link and it tells me I don't have access to it. Reasons: Permissions or trying to edit someone elses post.

Similar issue. Trying to play an avi file. d/l'd core player and DivX ( current versions of both). I get GREAT video but absolutely "0" audio. Thought MAYBE I needed to plugin the headset to hear the sound. Still nodda.

Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions?
