This is so strange. I have stock ROM and PointUI flies. No problems whatsoever. I will never use TF3D again.

yeah i'm still on pointui, it works great! I tried out sileys latest tf3d rom and although very smooth and highly customizable (you can add/remove tabs easily) it still isn't what i'd like it to be.

Not knocking it because it's not siley's fault, but if you try to customize tf3d it crashes because it's all patched up. So those who do want to customize can't.

I'm still using PointUI also. Better than any TF3D

I completely disagree with this statement.

I know it has to do with the sound profile of the apps I use. I use infiniti and set the profile to normal. Oh, and I am using the pro version.

for a little while i had a problem with my ringers not working, even when selecting a default ringer...

so what had happened was that between upgrades to my rom i didn't copy over the personalized ringers cause i wasn't sure i was going to keep the rom... so i started trouble shooting because i want back to SR9 ROM and found out that was it.

Is that the case with you? I was calling myself to see if it was software conflict but as soon as i put those ringers back everything worked just fine.

Maybe in your system, TF3D2 Rhodium with a TON of modifications works absolutely perfectly in my system. It is fast/fluid as hell (every bit as fast as PointUI) & never crashes at all. I keep trying other setups (PointUI Pro, MS 3.0, Titanium etc) & just keep returning back to TF.

Here are two of my current setups (I switch back & forth occasionally):

First is PointUI Pro with the 5 day weather, stock tab, flip clock etc etc etc

The second is TF3D Rhodium from Merdin's 6.5 ROM:

That Rhodium setup has never crashed once & I customize at least one aspect of it every day. It has features you cannot duplicate in PointUI, runs perfectly & looks pretty awesome too IMHO.......

We can all go back and forth with what is the best. the fact is it's all based off experience. It's like a die hard Ford fan saying he wont buy a dodge cause he had nothing but problems and vice versa for a dodge fan. I've had my good and bad with PointUI and my good and bad with TF3D. neither are perfect, its a matter of personal preference. TF3d is nice, i can handle using it, but i prefer the way pointui is setup more. thats just me.

The stability of PointUI really depends on the applets you use. I've never had a crash with the default and with my current applets. But I have with a couple others.

PointUI is my preference for now
