HTC Update
 

I am seeing a generic HTC Touch Pro ROM Update on their website. Says it came out on 2-19-09. I am trying to type in the serial, but it won't let me download. Anybody else have luck? Somebody have a serial number that works or a link to the download? Please help!

i'm pretty sure it's for gsm phones.

Actually I just read it was for GSM phones. Thx for the quick response. I am way over this POS phone! This is like my 3rd one, I have had all kinds of issues with it. I have been without it more than with it.

I am starting to hate HTC and their crap firmware and worst device support ever!

Too bad I have a SERO plan or else I would be first in line for the PRE.

What issues are you having? I love my phone, and I have a crippled verizon version. Flashed a custom rom on here and now I am good to go.

As for the pre, I'm excited to see how well it will do. What would hold me back is the lack of an memory slot. Thats just me personally.

Every smart phone to date has been described, at one point or another, as a broken nonfunctional omg how could they even have released this worthless piece of junk POS. Some obviously more than others (see "Mogul").

man these threads get old, theres a fix for everything out there, search and dl what you think is wrong. love my tp. next month youll be posting the same thing about the pre. if your trying to dl roms for a gsm tp then maybe the problem isnt the tp's fault.

I have a love/hate relationship with my phone. While the design and quality of the handset is mediocre (looks pretty, but wow the hardware glitches) I forgive it for the level of flexibility a WM phone w/ keyboard offers. Thats not to say WM has its very glaring faults as well. It's a love/hate with WM too.

Since the OP answered his own question and this is indeed for GSM and not CDMA and the thread has turned into a love/hate my phone allow me to show some love and close this thread down.
