Hey guys and girls. I have the htc touch pro on sprint. What I was trying to do is add a background pic to my phone. But it seems in order for this to be done I have to go to settings, today and uncheck touch flo 3d. Anyone have any experience using touch flo 3d and adding a background pic?

Slide the touchflo3d slider to the right and stop on Settings.

Ok, like the guy above me said, Settings - Wallpaper, click No to default.

Besides, im 95% sure i read that in the useless book Sprint gives you as well ](*,)

Thank you sir. I tried this and no luck. I was having some problems with the phone as well (i.e. could not add cities from the US to weather) so I soft reset and all is good now. Thanks for the quick response by the way.

well, i don't know exactly what "tried this and no luck" means. The way posted above is the way you do it.

I had the same problem. The TF3D has it's own wallpaper that covers up the regular "Today Screen". Check your Sprint Touch Pro manual for more detail.

I need hel p with also because i set a background but it only applies for the home tab when move over to another tab suxh as the wheater tab the background changes back.

You want to use the background for all page set up if you want to change the screen on all tabs... Here is a link to the cab, this wall also change your clock to the flip style clock so you need to first install sprint2flip cab.

Also there is another way to add the same image to all tabs and not have to change your clock or whatever....

You need this program: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=470798 on your PC
Connect your phone to pc via active sync , open cfcguieditor program and go to device/Import from device... this will bring up all your manila files. Put your view type to Manila Name... find file "manila Sprint bg" manila name 4a087e41_manila ... choose your image you want to replace (make it 512x512) use the button, "replace with" and scroll to your new image. This will overwrite the stock background, now click ... To Device (also in bottom right corner) this will set up your phone with the new file.
You're background will be changed on all pages, You can then also select new wallpaper for just the front page via the previously posted methods (gving you custom wallpaper on all tabs with different home page).

Haha wow, after reading this thread I just feel retarded. I never knew you could add a background to it. I had even seen the background choice under the settings tab. Haha thanks for asking my question.
