Rom advise

I know there are a bunch of threads like this but I have searched for a new ROM and don't know what one is for me. I want a simple ROM that will put all my program Icons on the today screen I don't care if the clock is there or not also would like a battery meter. really nothing else. maybe all i need is a theme don't know any help would be appreciated.
thanks

either your in the wrong upgrades forum or you have to update your device.

I personally enjoy cooking ROMS myself but I have tried MightyROM in the past and was impressed ... Alot of people here swear by it as well, it may be a good place to start... I believe he has a WM6.1 version, and a WM6.5 version also.

In any event the trick is to just pick one and flash it :) .. If you are new to the scene just make sure you read the unlocking and flashing STICKYS in this forum and then dive in...

The best way to decide what features and tweaks are important to you is to start playing around with what's available...

Good luck...

No problem at all... To me, half the fun of PPC customization is the journey to your perfect setup... Try not to worry so much about where to start and just start experimenting.

+1, enjoy not knowing what you want because the search for the perfect rom is fun. When you finally get your device setup exactly how you want it, youll find yourself trying to find more things it needs, knowing that it needs nothing else, and then the fun seems to be over. I guess its time to start putting together a rom :)
