Hey guys, ive been following several threads on these forums while modding my touch pro. im running mighty reborn with a long list of programs/regedits/etc. everything works great, my only problem is live search. I have .net cf 3.5 installed, and when attempting to run livesearch, i get an error message saying livesearch requires v2.0. now i would assume that 3.5 would cover that, but obviously not, so, is it possible to have 2.0 AND 3.5 installed so that all my programs are happy, and if so, where can i find the 2.0 cab. I have been searching and have so far only been able to locate the 3.5 cab.

I am pretty sure you will be able to install both on your device. And from what I read (Google) you can run both, have you tried looking here seems like this should work for you...

yes, i saw that, however, im confused as that appears to be a .msi installer file for a pc. will winmo also recognize .msi files? im gonna load it onto my TP and try it to see.

i got it figured out. seems that you have to run the installer package on your pc, and that loads the cab into the mobile device center, then when you sync it loads the cab and starts the install. almost reminds me of the old palm pilot days. thanks for the help :headbang:
