Active Sync does not work
 
A friend of mine just picked up the TP for Altel and is having no luck getting active sync to work. He spent hours on the phone with tech support to no avail.

Every time you try and sync it says you need to install Active Sync 4.5, and that is the version that is installed. Thanks for the help in advance.

gott come here first, I assume you deleted active sync and reinstalled it, deleted partnership and recreated a new one, right? btw can you verify that your are using XP? coz I have Vista and active sync 6.1, you are saying 4.5 !! also, basic thing , go to prog/active sync/conection/make sure the box is checked to connect via usb when on cradle...Sprint user here....it will work, change usb cable too just in case...
