text messages don't send a lot of times
 

has anyone ever encountered this? or have a fix maybe?

i'm running on Altel with the new Mighty rom on a TP

make sure you have data while roaming allowed and check you're outbox. If they aren't there then they sent. It may be a network issue.

This is happening alot on my friends touch pro also running that rom.
I'm running nfsfan's rom, and it's doesn't have that problem at all.
Also, his sends multiples of the same texts to people too.

Edit: me and my friend both have alltel.

what mightyrom? i will assume mightyrom5 as i have mightyrom4 and it works fine.

Do you happen to be receiving a text message as you're trying to send one out? That will usually interrupt yours and say it didn't sent.

That's not what happens to my friends.
He just gets a notification saying that it didn't send,
but in reality it sent, and possibly even sent a couple copies.

That was directed at the OP, and multiple texts are usually a result of restoring text messages when you flash a new rom.

I know it was directed to him, I was just stating the case I knew about.
And he doesn't back up anything but contacts...


Edit: I use to have it happen to me every now and then for a couple months on cheaper phones from alltel.
but it was back when verizon actually bought alltel (a few years ago, yes, they did buy them years ago).
