Picture Mail Issue

I am running Copper 6.5 ROM on Sprint Touch Pro:

I am receiving the following message after sending a picture message:

"SprintFreeMsg: The picture/video you sent to xxxxxxxxxx may not be received. The receiving service provider has a file size limit."

I have tested this both with Sprint and AT&T. Has anyone experienced this?

Not to sure about this sprint text, but i know a lot of phones can't receive MMS larger than 300kb. Are you trying to send something bigger then that?

That is actually my next idea. Is there a way to set the settings when sending a picture it decreases it's size?.. I looked through the registry, but I have been unable to find a setting that I think would do it.. I took the picture with the camera on my Touch Pro. I have done this in the past and everything worked fine on the Sprint ROM.

Well, you can change the "send limit" in the "Pics/Video Options", but i can't remember if arcsoft will automatically resize if you exceed it. Maybe that was sMMS that did that automatically. or both. Not sure. Anybody know?

Re: Picture Mail Issue

I do have a license for sMMS and I just tested sending a picture mail through it and it worked fine. I personally would rather be able to send the message through the Sprint Picture mail, so I will keep searching and see if I find anything.
