Does any of you guru's out there know of a program that can control my dvr from dish over the internet using either a smartphone or a windows mobile pro?

Not sure if you actually want to watch it too, but you could always hook it up to a SlingBox and install the software on your phone. Essentially, you would operate (and watch) your television on your phone as though you were sitting in front of it with the remote. ]
