no data connection
 

I just installed WMWifiRouter and I can connect to the internet via WIFI, but now I can't access the internet through my phone. I can't go to any website. It says "connection error" or something along those lines. How can I fix this? I am running WM 6.5 and SPB Mobile Shell 3.0.

HEY iNTERNET LOST:mrgreen: are you saying you can connect to the internet via WIFI, but yout TP INTErNET is broken! check your internet connection setting/ make sure that it is dialing #777 and it is saying cellular line under Modem

Yup, that's how it is. Still not working. I've done a soft reset, removed the battery and even deleted WMWifiRouter, but still nothing. I don't wanna do a hard reset unless I have no other options. Ideas or thoughts are welcome :(

Didn't work. Still getting the "cannot find server or dns error" notification. Also, it beeps like if I just turned on the data through the comm manager.

Did you pay your bill? hehe, just kidding.

I'm pretty sure WMWifiRouter still has a "crash recovery" option in the menu. This should restore your original data settings (whether it actually crashed or not).

I went to ##786#, went to Menu and clicked Reset. A message came up saying ALL data will be lost. Is this the same as doing a hard reset?

First go to ##data# and make sure your active profile is set to 1.

you cant upgrade your profile if you dont have any connection, just restore your profile under ##data# not RTN as I mentionned before, that will just refresh your data setting ,if that fails call em up

Im not sure what rom you are using, but normally in the start menu/settings/system there should be an option to update prl, and update profile. If not you may need to find the cabs, or flash back to stock to update them.

just the same thing happened to me today WMWIFIRouter 0.90something messed up...Nothing cant access the internet..unless i use IP address to access things...I'm using juicy 7 and update prl and update profile i installed isnt seem to be working. Would restoring to stock and update prl/profile work ? Anything less painful ? :-)
