unique tethering issue

Hey all, i tried a couple of searches but couldnt find any thing quite like the problem ive been having....when tethering in EV my speeds are great and i love it, but without cause or reason it constantly drops back to 1x and i cant do anything its not the reception im not moving the phone and as soon as i do a soft reset im back to EV with full bars....any one know whats causing this or more importantly how to rectify it?

well with what you have listed, I am assuming you have/know how to change radios. I would keep trying radios until you find one that works in your area. IMO the Telus radio works real nice for me

+1 same happens to me...instead of soft reseting try turning phone radio off and back on again thats what I do. I wish there was a solid fix for this, One way is to force EV but have problems with phone calls and text.

Changing radios doesnt work for me Iv been through 4 different ones and no luck
