Sprint 60652.prl file for WinMo6.5 users
 

Bummed that the nifty Update PRL app on our Touch Pro doesn't do squat on these new WinMo 6.5 ROMS? Me too!

It dawned on me to check and I found that I still had the old 60614 version.

Here is the latest version for Sprint. Download and extract it to your handheld or sd card.

If you have your MSL code you can update it by dialing ##PRL# ( aka ##775#) and entering your MSL unlock code when prompted.
You will get a screen that says "Update PRL". Highlight it, hit menu and choose edit. Click the Browse button to select the 60652.prl file you downloaded to your phone and select ok. It will update and reset the phone.

Your roaming list is now current.

And yes, before anyone asks, this works for Sprint WinMo 6.1 and 6.0 phones too.

Just FYI, I'm using merdinh's 6.5 rom and the PRL update app works fine. I just updated from 60650 to 60652.

60652 removed Alltel EVDO on roaming in this area. I'll stick with my 60611. Be careful.

I sent 60651 and 60652 to the Corolada PRL page several weeks ago but he never put them up there.

Really? Every 6.5 I've tried so far hasn't had it work yet. It just has the spinning balls and eventually errors out. Is he using his own Sprint PRL Update cab or the ones that have been floating around forever now?

What's the deal? I found this PRL with a higher number 60750, but was posted with a date of 2/2009. So which is more current? the file number or the post date?

lol, the PRL update feature didn't work on my stock rom either... I think it might be hit or miss, or based on account or location?!?

I've always had to manually update mine.

i can't believe it, i used the update prl button and it actually worked. thats the first time i've pushed that button and it worked. the first prl update i had to do manually.

WRONG! In some Sprint markets you get 60750 on the Touch Pro right out of the box. Mine came that way and I extracted the prl months ago and others who have purchased a Sprint Touch Pro have also had 60750 out of the box.

Now sure I would have to look at the 60652 file and see what is different between the 60750. I have found it always strange how Sprint decides to deploy different prl's in different markets. They should just have one PRL for nationwide.

mike you are wrong, and the market you're in doesn't matter which prl you will get. I can buy a phone in new york and take it to the west and the phone is exactly the same. the 60570 prl is for air cards, i don't know where you get your info from. it may work with your phone but technically that is for air cards, i work for sprint i'm positive, i'm looking at it in our system as we speak. 60652 is the newest prl for ALL evdo rev a handsets, it was just released recently. the 60750 prl has been out for months. the aircards probably have 60752 coming out soon. and they don't deploy different prls in different markets, where do you get this stuff.

Here is the PRL update tool for your phone works on WM6.5 too. If it fails try it a couple times. I got it to update my PRL on the 3rd try...

also, and never have they made a prl and gone backwards. 60650>60750>60652 this doesn't make any sense. Whats really funny is i just checked your signature and you're in the same market as me. if you were saying that 60750 was the previous updated prl in our market you definitely don't know what you're talking about.

I am 100% right on the prl thing. Now as for software updates they haven't let me know anything and i look for something everyday but they haven't given us any info on a software update.

60750 is for connection cards, not EVDO phones, 60750 is less than 60752... for toucg 60652 is newest version

Im using Slience ROM X and after I installed the PRL cab it worked fine for me updating to 60652 without any issues.

60750 has been rumored to be a Aircard PRL, but many many New pros have been confirmed shipped with 60750, atleast in the past. I updated to it, upon reading alot of people saying its aircard prl untill I read multiple people who just got pros with this PRL in it. I get great reception, Battery life and Calls. Say what you will, this 60750 prl works great in my HTC TOUCH PRO>:headbang:

i didn't say it wouldn't work, i said when you look in sprints database as to what that prl is used for, all of the 607 prl's are for aircards. if they work with your phone then thats coo, but the prl was created for an aircard and the 606 prls were created for handsets, thats all im saying.

OH ok. Another Question? If its a Aircard (not doubting you) why would some pros come stock with a Aircard PRL?

none of mine, ive had 3, but then again I really didnt know anything about prl till about 1 month ago. But Ive read multiple posts with people that have and even posted screenshots, so I figured alot of people are saying, why not. lol. if everyone jumped, yes I would. :headbang:
