debating if i should switch from my diamond to a touch pro
 

i work for sprint and have had a diamond for about 6 months now and its geting to the point where it bores me. rom updates are nice..but i guess i still cant hold on to a phone for too long lol. anyways, working for sprint i get some nice oportunities like getting a NIB touch pro for free on tuesday if i choose to take it..guess im just wondering how those feel who'v come from the diamond? :D

on a side note palm pre is only a few weeks away :mrgreen:

i say go for it, from what ive noticed the TP seems to be the most popular ppc on this site at the moment and therfore there are an uber amount of custom Roms and programs for it. i say go for it if you dont like it, like you said the Pre is just weeks away lol.

i have both man and to tell you the true they both great phones...
if you text a lot its better to have the pro if not then ill say keep ur
diamond. but they both hot and sweet phones to play with.

If it is free, you might as well right? There isn't much of a difference though, besides the obvious ones.

Free = get it. I also have both and carry both at the same time. They are VERY similar, keyboard is nice, flash on camera is nice. But Diamond is smaller and sleeker. If its free, try out the TP> If you dont like it, sell it to a fellow geek for a sweet deal!

I actually switched from a Touch Pro back to a Diamond.....it's all about personal preference.

I got sick of the laggy keyboard, the loose mechanics, and the many battery related issues. The Diamond has been working great for me. Also, I stopped using the keyboard and started using the touch screen 100% of the time.
