Hard Resetting with the buttons

I know that many of you had problems with doing this... and even I did...

I dont think that what others are posting is correct about how to hard reset with the buttons. So I give this to you, because I figured it out... and it works for me every time.

Put your stylus in your mouth with the end butted against your teeth (and securing with your lips).

Hold volume down, power, and center dpad buttons down (this requres 2 hands for me).

Push (and HOLD) the reset button with the stylus that is in your mouth.

Within 5 seconds or so, the screen will come up for a factory reset.

I hope this helps you all.

An easier way I found is to take the battery out, hold the volume down and press the dpad button with your left hand. Put the battery back in and Bob's your auntie.

just goto start\settings\system\clearstorage, no putting objects in your mouth or jumping through hoops.

If you turn off your phone first then you can skip the reset button step, which makes it much easier. All you need to do is Hold volume down, power, and center dpad buttons while it's off.

Haha, just reading the putting the stylus in the mouth and all that sounds like quite a juggling act! Just picturing it is funny as hell.

It is tricky to do , thats the only way I can pull it off and it doesnt even work on Verizon but I have tried many times , lol. My prefered method is as stated by Darren , clear storage , ftw.
