can get pic messages but cant send them
 

i installed mightyrom 4.16 and couldnt get pics, i installed a program (forget the name) and now i can get them but cant send. it comes up with an error. ideas?

i searched and found this page listing different carrier cabs. http://dcd1182.n715dp.com/index.php?dir=carriers%2F i assume thats what you were talking about... i dont know what it did but i still cant send pic messages. :/

How are you able to GET them?? Which version of Arcsoft did you install? I just installed it but could not see where to configure it.. how did you get it to even allow you to RECEIVE pics? I'm also on USCC and would love to know how to do this!!

I had this same problem with several roms sir, as I am also on US Cellular.


The only version of arcsoft that worked for me is this one.

with these settings

go into Text messaging. Go into Menu, then pick Pics / Video Settings . Create a new entry.

Set the Name to whatever.
Gateway should be blank.
Port should be 80.
URI should be http://mmsc1.uscc.net/mmsc/MMS
Send limit should be 500K.

Set this connection to the default, delete the others, if possible.

WOW!!! I got MMS workin on my TP!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!:headbang::headbang::headbang:

I had to call USCC and have them activate it.. now I can SEND *AND* RECEIVE pics via mms!! Now I just hooked my wife up with my former Titan.. I'm trying to get it to work on their.. but so far I'm unsuccessful. :disgust: She is an MMS MADWOMAN.. so I better get this workin for her one way or another or she will probably go back to her RAZR!!

EDIT: Got it workin on the TITAN. Had to created a data connection.. my bad. Now it's working.. only thing is sometimes it seems to freeze after sending?!

GOT IT WORKING on the TITAN also!! WOOOOOOOOT!

Weird thing.. I installed the same cab as linked to in this post on BOTH devices.. on my TP in the ABOUT screen it says it's version 5.0.82.79. But on the Titan it says it's version 5.0.83.79. From the same cab... is that even possible????
