TP on screen keyboard
 

Hey fellow geeks I was just wondering does anyone know of a way to use the on screen keyboard for the tp while texting in landscape mode without having to slide out he keyboard. I would like to get the screen to rotate when I rotate it no matter what screen I am on, I highly doubt that can happen but I would at least like it to work while texting because I love the on screen keyboard.

Also does anyone know of a way to get an iphone like onscreen keyboard for the tp that works for wm 6.1 I like the onscreen keyboard that the tp already has but I just wish that the letters would pop out to the side so that u can see what your pressing when typing.

I think the gyrator program will work for this. I didnt have it long cause I didnt want to take the time to tweak it to certain programs, but it rotates everything for you without the keyboard. I think theres a link in the essentials thread.

+1 for gyrator...i used to use that all the time...but i cut that and call calendar out cus it seems something was killing my battery...and im not sure if that was it or not

Check out Resco Pro for a KB that is very simuilar to the iphone KB

Thanks the gyrator(am I the only one who laughed at this) did the trick and the Resco pro keyboard is great(now just gotta figure out how to hack it so I dont have to pay for it) and is easier on the eyes than the stock one thanks again fellow geeks

yeah no problem, I was going to suggest the resco keyboard too, its much better than stock. If you figure out that hack let me know!

For a free keyboard that is awesome, easy to edit layouts and a host of skins available (also easy to skin yourself) check out the FingerKeyboard 2.1 in the software forum... dang I sound like a commercial! But I love it and it is free so no need to steal from Resco!

eenieMINI you ROCK! FingerKeyboard 2.1 this keyboard is way better than resco pro (no offense to you other guys) but man this thing is cool and best of all is that it is FREE! and it is made specifically for whatever device you have. I suggest for all of you geeks out there to get this keyboard (ok the moment has p***** I am now on the move to search out new products that geeks have never seen before)
