Telus radio on VZW network with Sprint TP
 

I have a Sprint TP that is currently being used on VZW. I want to try switching out the radio not so much to improve the signal, but to improve the battery life. The phone will get too hot and stop charging while I listen to streaming audio in the morning. Has anyone successfully done this yet?

What a mouthful...

It should work, the radio is just maintaining battery usage. If it supports your carrier it will work, no matter the device. For example, I use the TELUS radio, so it works on VZW and will work on your device because its compatible with VZW and CDMA

I can confirm this should work. Been running this setup for about a month now. On VZW with a sprint touch pro.

Could you provide me with a solution as to how you got your sprint TP on VZW? I've tried a lot, but cant find a way to write the ESN. I have it unlocked, silence rom, SPC 000000. Tried cdma_WS, qpst, qxdm but still no luck at writing the ESN in ##diag# any other options?

I also have a Sprint TP running the Telus radio on Verizon service, works very well.

The only way that works right at the moment is to have a friend who works for VZ add the MEID to the VZ database.
