why sprint timer???
 

but why sometimes when i tap the signal bars on the home screen i see Sprint with a running timer on it and sometimes i just see Sprint: connected???

I may be wrong but I noticed it started to time when I did the tweak to cut off date after a minute of non use. This may not be right, but thats what I figure it was

It tells you how long the data connection has been active for.
