Introducing WP-Activate

What it does

Activate WeatherPanel detail layouts from within:

• Spb Mobile Shell
• Ultimate Launch
• etc. (any app that supports application links)

How it works

WP-Activate is a tiny, native application that, when launched, examines your WeatherPanel configuration and "clicks" your current layout - causing the weather details to pop-up:

Requirements:headbang:

• WeatherPanel must be installed and running in your Today screen (or Second Today).
• WP-Activate must be installed.
• Create an Application gadget in Mobile Shell (or the launcher of your choice) and point it to wpA.lnk - in Windows\Start Menu\Programs

hmm.. really I am just going to stick with 6.1. I never really going to use wm as an interface anyways I don't really like either 6.1 or 6.5 interface. So the ROM version means nothing to me except that currently in 6.5 lose the start menu that was still a good useable quick shortcuts for applications that I used often. The next thing I hate about 6.5 is the honeycomb grid does not allow re-ordering of the shortcuts except to move to top and bottom.. no just move up or down and no sort by alphabet so often was hard to find the shortcut I wanted. As well as the scrollbar is non-existant in all programs now making it easy to accidently click on what you did not want. No to me remembering this made me realize it was fun to play with but for actually using it.. it was a nightmare. The 6.1 was really more practical for functionality still.

You can always add the old 6.1 Start menu with "Quick Menu versions 2.7 or 2.8... Then I have another app that's call start menu, it does the job also, to each his own.. I love them all....:headbang:

I use Quick menu already.. but I still like how I can hold start button down longer and get to my quick cuts. Secondly this does not fix the HORRIBLE honeycomb menu that has no order control. I had to keep saying to someone I was going to show something too hold on I will find the program here shortly and scrolling and scrolling looking for it because it wasn't in damn alphabetical order! Now that was an embarrassment!

Trying to show off how good the TP phone is and I spend more time trying to find what I was looking for in the Honeycomb Grid.. needless to say the person wasn't impressed with WM 6.5 either when he saw that. He was impressed with the QuickMenu addon when I showed him that though.

Yeah, Merdinh has just released his final version of the 6.5 TF3D/2D ROM, the link is now available to this awesome 6.5 ROM in post #1....:headbang:

is there a way to change the touch flo3d to another color than the red..and the red clock. also on the windows default home screen how do i get the weather on there,also how do i fix the broken camera and camera album shortcut?

Which ROM do you have, because I don't have those problems, both are working like a charm... Something just don't add up here, holla back please.....:headbang:

I assume you have merdins rom right? I have the same problem with the red too even if I install a new tf3d theme a lot of things remain red, its a bit annoying

its the 5-15 rom. also last night i set the alarm clock to wake me up at 6am and threw my phone on the charger and this morning my phone was completely off and the battery was only charged to 30% . not sure what caused that or what the power settings were used to completely shut my phone off. for being on the charger and being charged only to 30% has me completely baffled. maybe a fluke because when i looked at my charge light it was a solid white like it was full.

That is a SUPER annoying problem. It seems to be caused by excessive heat causing the charger to but out. If it happens to me a couple times, I flash to a different ROM immediately. One of the earlier Mighty ROM's caused my phone to do this, but I haven't had the problem in months at this point (one of my TP's is running Mighty 4.16 & another is running Mighty RBORN)
