Once again, the title of your thread has caused confusion. If your thread is about customizing a rom and not an actual ROM thread, please make your title clear. Misleading titles are disrespectful and annoying.

While I'm on my soapbox, let me also say that 3" signatures and bumperstickers (particularly the heavily animated ones) are equally annoying. If you really find such things necessary, please don't post very often (here or anywhere on the site).

I too get the installation unsuccessful with insufficient priveledges???

Any advice? I have sbp 3.0 installed already?

exactly.....it is very misleading and like I said...it seems like he is trying to pass off the rom as his own creation....then when somebody post that they had some kind of problem, he ignores them and call them a liar and then you see a post praising the rom afterward and then he spams with a comment like "TOLD YA SO... DON't LISTEN TO THE HATERS...THIS IS TEH BEST ROM EVER" type of response...and with all the bugs ppl are mentioning...99.9% perfect is hella misleading for sure....I see why this thread went from a one star to a 5 star and down to a 1 star with a quickness

Ok. I am not the sharpest person on this site by a log shot. I am just a typical guy. I have tried ROMs by Mighty, Psyki, Juicy and Merdin. I think that they are all great. Each has its pluses and minuses. Here is what I don't understand. If you don't like this thread...go somewhere else. Stop trying to impose your will on others. I have NEVER thought that Tech is trying to pass this ROM off as his own creation or to take credit or any of that nonsense. If you think the title is misleading...don't click on it. If you have decent speed on your computer, in about 4.9 seconds after your click on the link, you will see what its all about and you CAN LEAVE. 5 seconds out of your life isn't that bad. But instead of doing that, you guys are staying and posting complaints, taking more of your time, and cluttering the thread. How intelligent is that? Somebody was complaining about someone elses signature line!!!! REALLY?? Who are you, the signature Nazi? C'mon. Some of you guys need to get a life. Take a chill pill and stop taking yourself so serious.

So lets be smart. If you don't like a thread, don't go on it, and definately don't post on it. Just keep it moving!

Thanks for changing the titlle and approach to this thread. It seemed as if many people were trying to pass this off as being stable and possible only on one single ROM. However, this is not the case as I have gotten it to work on a ROM other than the one being pushed. Thanks for the customization and instructions.

im sure you guys have all seen the new cabs, but i just wanted to post them here, cause this settup needs both. the new google maps, and the new clean rom. Both are outdated and these are the new ones. this clean rom shows the status and you can set it to auto run. The google maps kept crashin on me. This one doesnt and you can play with street view a little more. here they are.

Ok I really don't understand these instructions at all.. cut the mobile shell to the storage card? since I haven't played with spb mobile shell at all I really need more informative steps to walk me through doing this... especially since I have just reflashed my drive since the bug with audiomanager can't be fixed.. I would recommend staying away from the beta version.. the bug with red wallpaper and the audiomanager has hit me with it.. will use the 4-13-09 to keep things nice simple and clean and working.

i have run this rom for a few days now and i think it is the hottest thing here i was devoted to mike and all his great roms but this one i have not had to customize anything came the way i wanted and works flawlessly thru the whole day. Word neds to get out so you cand love the 6.5 on your phone this thing kicks ***

They are 2 ROMS, the 4-13-09, which requires the error bug fixes.... I'm now at this time using the 4-13-09 ROM with the Complete XBmod Rhodium Package, which will fix the few error bugs it's located in post #1...

The only other thing, that I done to the 4-13-09 ROM is to add my "Speed tweaks", which I do with ALL the ROMs that I flash...

My personal Speeds Tweaks, you may have yours:

1. The Omnia D3D Driver Cab, install to the main memory...

2. Sdkcerts to the main memory...

3.Diamond Tweaks> 14. TouchFLO 3D Sensitivity {Very High}, Finger Pressure {Very High}, Graphic Fluidty {High (Advise)}, tap OK....

4. Advance Config> Performance>
File system cache Enable (default)
File system cache size, set to 8MB
File system filter cache, set to 131072 sectors
PNP unload delay: 1500
PNP wait I/Q delay: 1500
Glyph cache: set to 128KB
Tap Done soft reset

These are the only speed tweaks that I use, they maybe others you know of...

This ROM for me is the 99.9% perfect 6.5 ROM for me now, I have now problems at ALL with this ROM, never ever...

Plus All the major video apps works and all other apps works like a charm even the "Music Tab works" see the picture below..,

Also, I'm in the TRI POD MODE at all times, no freeze ups, instructions are in post #1, thanks to my partner Jnuts.....

The other ROM is the 4-26-09 follow "IN Crowd The Link" in post #1, just, enjoy.... You don't have to run the same set up as I ran on the 4-13-09 ROM, but I ran the same set up anyway, that I ran on the 4-13-09 ROM and got the same awesome results....

I pray that the above info will help all of my fellow Geeks, like I said, pay no attention to the player haters behind the curtain.....{lol}:headbang:

after i installed everything, i'm getting an error when i try to run the file manager. is there a fix i've missed for this?

I thought it was quite clear. guess not not.

Go into windows folder. From ther go into start up folder. See the "mobile shell". Tap and hold. Or hit menu>edit>cut. You know, cut and copy? "CUT" the spb shell out of that folder and go to storage card, hit menu>edit>paste.

Now you are playing the game with POWER...! A Tip, install "Stock Rom" back on your TP first, next install the new software, and run the error bug fix software in post #1, now see don't your installation come out a million times better.....{lol}:headbang::mrgreen::drunken:

there's not an error bug fix in post #1 (unless you're talking about the CDMA fix #2).

and i thought this was for Merdin's rom? so are you saying i need to go back to stock, then flash merdin's, then add all this stuff?

Edit. ok. after installinng file no. 5 (the HTC icons, that's when my file manager no longer works). suggestions?

It's going work out better for you doing it that, because you will be cleaning your phones system out before in stalling the ROM and the XBmod Rhodium Files (error bug fixes files}... Tech1, I notice all the different cabs on the first page, but I don't know what they all are or what exactly they're posted for. Since they're grouped with different sets of pics I figure there is something relevant to why they're posted that way. I don't mean to sound so ignorant, but do you think you can explain what those cabs are for. Except for post #1. That one I understand.
