activesync error 0x85010013 - FIXED!!!!
 

I think I have found a fix for this error! See this post http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=66973 This has been working with Merdins 6.5 v4.5 ROM for the last hour. I will update if it changes.

With the rhodium and now spb 3.0 interface it has been hit and miss for working activesync with my work email over the air. My office network requires me to accept a policy and then accept and change my password when I first use activesync. I have searched this forum and xda and there may be an issue on the outlook server side, especially if my office is using 2007. It has been mentioned that these newer roms are not being recognized as a provisioned phone and on the server to check the option to use non-provisioned phones.

But I do not understand why some roms work for me and some do not.

ROMS that have worked:
Any ROM pre Rhodium
KK's 2.0 beta 2
Copper v0.1
Demolition v.1

ROMS that have not worked:
KK's 2.0 Final
Any Merdins Roms after v3.4
RSTG v3.09 MSE3

Still need to try:
MightyRom 5
Juicy 7
Psykirom 1.0

I will update as I flash. If anyone has any suggestions or if you need more information to help please let me know.

If you are the Exchange admin, temporarily disable SSL authentication on the server and phone and see if it syncs.

It's funny that support.microsoft.com doesn't pull up search results for this error. Does that mean it doesn't really exist?! :evil4:

Unfortunately I am not the admin of the exchange server and I work for a large company. So unless I can get an IT person to help me I will not be able to try that. Microsoft support does list this error as an HTTP protocol error, but has no solution.

It just changed the "Allow non-provisionable devices" setting in Exchange 2k7 (I'm the Exchange admin :-)) and it worked straight away. I'm on a custom ROM from XDA-developers called EnergyROM. It ought to work on the others though.

THIS IS AWESOME!!! Been scratching my head for 2 months wondering why my phone stopped synching. Worked like a charm, only took a second to copy to the phone and execute.
