Flashing new roms - metroPCS
 

I've been flashing roms left and right trying to decide which one to stick with, and right now i'm happy with Silence rom 9 but I keep getting the urge to try something else (I know, the addiction is kickin in :twisted:) I'm on metroPCS and everytime I flash a new rom I have to go in and set up the MMS, mess with regristry settings, set up my slow internet connection. I was just wondering what I can do to save all this stuff in a cab or some kind of registry file that I can import in after I flash a new rom. It would really save me alot of time and aggravation. Thanks.

look up dcd carrier cabs, use wince cab manager and create your own carrier cab :) i have one for cricket that i use.

There is no dcd carrier cab for metropcs. Wasn't sure if you were suggesting that, but just clearing that up.

im aware there isnt. what im saying is take another carrier oem/cab and edit it for metroPCS and wala you have your carrier cab.

Cool, i'll give it a shot, don't know what i'm doing but I learn fast. I do remember seeing other carrier cabs floating around here, so i'll d/l one and try and edit. I appreciate all the responses. Thanks guys.

If you get this carier cab to work and post it here I'll love you for 2 days...sorry dont think my girl friend would appreciate me loving some 1 else longer than that :-( lol.. seriously though ur running silence9 i just flashed it yesterday and am having probs..its an awesome rom but I cant seem to get the net working,hotmail to instal gps to work or msn windows live.. I dont no where I went wrong lol every other rom I've flashed I got every thing working with ease (I to am on metro pcs)

i cant be bothered to go look up the settings, but if you can post them here easily enough maybe i can edit my cricket cab for you.
