Using TP as primary music player?
 

So I sold my iPhone and I really want to make my TP my primary music player, but I'm not sure if the interface is really good or if the batteries will drain significantly. And tips and insight? or maybe a third party app?



oh yeah on a side note do we get the microsoft marketplace thingy?

Hvae you tried s2p? I like the way it looked but there was too long of a delay between songs for me to deal with, I shuffle through about 4GB of music. Nitrogen is nice, but to clunky for me to use for more than a few days. I keep going back to Pocket Player, however it isn't very finger friendly. As far as battery life goes, I would guess that you would get several hours off a full charge. I know I can get a couple hours off a full charge and drains to maybe half. Just be sure to keep your screen off.

I use my tpro as my primary music player. You can check out TCPMP or S2P as well. I prefer the touchflo 3d as a means to play my music
as for marketplace nothing available yet =(

thanks! do you guys have any links to the ones you suggest? what is the original music player on the TP called? or is it just WMP?

Plus 1 for Nitrogen, just search.
Uses scroll wheel, very Iphony, can't do play lists but everything loads in order by artist (in my case) so I know logic order of music to find what I want.
Read directions carefully, it was a little tricky for me (possibly just me) to load all music and folders, but I like it. Has a couple of skins for viewing and use options.

I pretty much use my TP as my main music player with a Motorola S9 HD BT stereo headset (even though I have a second gen ipod touch also), I have done that since last November.

I have about 500 mp3 files on my card & usually use the TF3D music interface.

the touch flo 3d interface is stupidly simple. S2P doesn't work so well sometimes but it is a great alternative too. Nitro haven't tried yet because I have maybe like 100 mp3s...I need to get my collection back but too lazy and midterms

I like TCPMP, works well, does video awesome....for me, i ususally just use WMP with the Vista skin, just set it to shuffle and it works well for what i need it for....

p.s. Congrats on getting rid of your iPhony......PPCers will take over the world yet....:headbang:
