cant uninstall opera
 

I installed a Opera build 9.5 w/ google gears to a 6.5 rom that did not have it pre installed (mighty and juicy's forgot the name). Here is a link to where i downloaded it: http://www.opera.com/mobile/download/ . Its really buggy, crashes, changes my keyboard keeps changing so I wonted to down grade and use a more stable service, but it wont uninstall, windows removed it form the list but i cant install a new version. Please advise.

Only way I could do it was to delete the opera folder in the windows folder. There is an opera9.exe and operaL.exe in the windows directory that also need to be deleted.

I don't see opera9.exe, operaL.exe, or even the opera folder in the windows folder... still cant install different version of opera, really sucks

Ask the guy who made the rom you are using and search through his thread I guess. Sorry I couldnt help.

i am using the generic file explorer, maybe its hidden? I will try resco explorer to see if I can find the files and delete it
