Sprint/Telus/US Cellular Image Tag for your signatures

It seems that image tags are all the craze nowadays. Everyone seems to have one to show the rom they're using. But, what about the radio? So I decided to make a sig tag for the radio I use as well, the Telus v1.04.05V.

It's based off of the actual Telus logo, and I added in our version number with the corresponding colors. Hope you like it.

You can just highlight to select it, then Ctrl+C, and paste this image into your sig.

Or,

You can insert the image in your sig and still make it clickable so that it will automatically direct someone to a thread. I've got my tag pointed to my Telus step by step flash, but you could point it to:

You can either highlight the desired one, and paste in your sig, of insert the image url in you sig using the WYSIWYG editor. (If you don't know how to do this, check out the PPCGeeks New User Guide post #2).

Once you've inserted the image into your sig. Then select (click on) the image and click on "Insert Link"

Copy and paste the link you want in the pop up that comes up and click ok.


The one in my sig is clickable if you want to see a working example.

Does anybody really flash TO the verizon radio? I was sorta making these along the same reasoning of why chefs make image tags for their custom roms, and to show what customizations you've done to your device. Making a verizon radio tag would be like making a tag for the stock rom. Just seems a little silly to me. Whatever, if I get enough requests, I'll do it. Also, Verizon has 2 logos, one for Verizon and one for Verizon wireless, which just sticks the word wireless after the original logo. The tag would be too oblong if I used the true wireless logo. I guess I could just use the regular verizon logo, but like I said, just sorta seems silly to use an image tag to let everyone know you rock stock.

Actually, I kinda enjoy rocking stock! Not on the radio, though, although in my area nothing seems to improve reception. I use my TP with stock Sprint ROM, but modded to my liking, it's the first time I haven't flashed my phone in over a month.

Great work on the logos, though, you're right, we need tags for everything:)

Okay, I am going to ask a noob question. Where can I find out about the differences in the radios? Do some give better battery life, etc.?

I'm assuming that since you've posted in the TP forum, you are actually using a TP (you device is not listed in your tag).

Yes different radios give different battery life which correlates to the signal strength. Different radios work better in different parts of the county.

Also, before you flash a radio (or a rom), you must first unlock your device.

If you have a CDMA touch pro (sprint, verizon, telus, etc):
The different radios are discussed there.

Otherwise, check the GSM upgrade subforum.


Read through the posts. It'll answer a lot of your questions, or post there if you have any more questions about radios.

I flashed to this radio today. I hope its better than sprint's.
