Sprint/Telus/US Cellular Image Tag for your signatures
(CDMA Touch Pro radios can be found here.)
It seems that image tags are all the craze nowadays. Everyone seems to have one to show the rom they're using. But, what about the radio? So I decided to make a sig tag for the radio I use as well, the Telus v1.04.05V. It's based off of the actual Telus logo, and I added in our version number with the corresponding colors. Hope you like it. http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/3...lus104logo.png You can just highlight to select it, then Ctrl+C, and paste this image into your sig. Or, You can insert the image in your sig and still make it clickable so that it will automatically direct someone to a thread. I've got my tag pointed to my Telus step by step flash, but you could point it to: Here's the link to the Telus: http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/3...lus104logo.png Link to my Telus flash step by step: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...1&postcount=18 Link to the beginning of the radio thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=46616 Or even link to this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=65868 You can either highlight the desired one, and paste in your sig, of insert the image url in you sig using the WYSIWYG editor. (If you don't know how to do this, check out the PPCGeeks New User Guide post #2). Once you've inserted the image into your sig. Then select (click on) the image and click on "Insert Link" http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/8972/insertlink.jpg Copy and paste the link you want in the pop up that comes up and click ok. The one in my sig is clickable if you want to see a working example. Sprint: http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/8...ntv111logo.png Image link: http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/8...ntv111logo.png Link to the beginning of the radio thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=46616 Link to this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=65868 Or, you can just highlight it, and Ctrl+C and paste it into your sig. US Cellular: http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/7...lar107logo.png Image Link: http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/7...lar107logo.png Link to the beginning of the radio thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=46616 Link to this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=65868 Or, once again, you can just highlight it, and Ctrl+C and paste it into your sig. Hope you like. |

Actually, I kinda enjoy rocking stock! Not on the radio, though, although in my area nothing seems to improve reception. I use my TP with stock Sprint ROM, but modded to my liking, it's the first time I haven't flashed my phone in over a month.
Great work on the logos, though, you're right, we need tags for everything:) |
Re: Sprint/Telus/US Cellular Image Tag for your signatures
Okay, I am going to ask a noob question. Where can I find out about the differences in the radios? Do some give better battery life, etc.?

Yes different radios give different battery life which correlates to the signal strength. Different radios work better in different parts of the county. Also, before you flash a radio (or a rom), you must first unlock your device. If you have a CDMA touch pro (sprint, verizon, telus, etc): Quote:
Otherwise, check the GSM upgrade subforum. Read through the posts. It'll answer a lot of your questions, or post there if you have any more questions about radios. |
