WinMo 6.5 Device Lock Question

Preface - Running StarRom 1.5

So I know that WinMo 6.5 has a device lock screen similar to s2u2 but I can't seem to get it activated unless i turn off TFlo3d on the today screen and check the "Device Lock" box. Is there any way to get this to be used automatically when using the phone or is this not implemented yet?

Thanks

On the settings section of the start menu select "Lock" -- enable simple pin, give it a password and set the timeout to zero. when you turn off the screen or wait it will self lock to the windows lock screen.

yea.. i can't believe 6.5 doens't have device lock auto when power button is pressed. Maybe they'll implement auto lock when it officially releases? don't know.

I know there's a cab on xda that locks when it wakes up.. i think it's called devicelock. You can try that.. not sure how consistently it works though.

HERE YA GO! IN THE SETTINGS MAKE SURE TO GIVE A NUMBER OF SECS U WANT IT TO ACTIVATE BEFORE THE LOCK KICKS IN. I HAVE IT AT 30 SECS, WORKS PERFECT. BTW GOT IT OVER AT THAT OTHER SITE.

Agreed. But a pass code on a MOBILE device that holds personal data should always be recommended.

Edit: Oh, and what is with the all CAPS!?

Re: WinMo 6.5 Device Lock Question

I am using a 6.5 ROM that has long press end key loaded on it.

I have it set to lock the device using the 6.5 locker (without password) when activated.

Is this an option for you?
