Okay...I've been reading and playin with my new TP from alltel for about a day now figuring out the basic stuff. Seems like every mod turns into a discussion about a new ROM before I can figure out how to simply do the mod. I am looking to make a few minor changes...clock, softkey color, background...basically an all new theme. I want to make sure I don't mess stuff up so I figured better safe than sorry....what all do I need to make these little changes?

There are plenty of new themes in cab form you can DL & install without changing/flashing to a new ROM.

Do a google search for TF3D themes, there ire TONS of them out there.

I knew there just had to be (hadn't googled it yet) I wasn't sure if I had to do some security unlock or anything like that....heck I dont know, just wanted to be safe. So where do I copy the files to? I did a BUNCH of these on my Q and just had to copy them to "home" in the applications folder....I figure this phone will be a bit different?

It just plain wont install....any common problems I'm unaware of?

you have to turn TF3D off in the today tab then install the TF3D config program. soft reset and you should be golden.

Ahhhhh....I had read that but it just didnt think it applied to what I was trying to do. Thought it related to something bigger...Thank you, I'll go try it!

still no workie....brings up error message (unexpected error has occured in diamond tf3d config.exe etc, etc...) Under details it says diamond config,exe NullReferenceException followed by a bunch of greek to me...

???
