TomTom 6 is a program you install on your smartphone. TomTom Go 720 is a gps system.

So this week I had to switch out my Touch Pro and now have a brand spanking new one with the new updated os and interface. AND IT STILL ISN"T PAIRING RIGHT! ::cries:: I still can pair it and get the hands free and phone book options but it still says "This phone does not seem to be capable of making a wireless data connection". Does ANYONE have ANY ideas at all?

HA HA, SUCCESS!!!

OK here's what I did guys.

First: I found a fix for the Bluetooth stack for WM6 that'll allow the Touch Pro to link up, it can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...44#post1351044

Second: Install onto you phone to perform a soft reset

Third: ReSync you TomTom to you Touch Pro (or I would think any WM6 deviece) and let it finish.

Fouth: Select YES to set up data services fillin these options

Country: USA
Carrier: Other
Everything But Number leave blank, for the number: #777
If it asks for Auto or manual: Auto.

AND THAT'S IT! ISNTIT GREAT. Better late then never guys.

i tried this months ago and your step 4 does not happen. it still says my TP is not capable of making a wireless data connection. using wm6.5 build 21859.

well there's your problem. You're using 6.5. and a beta.
the download is for 6, and 6.1. You'll need to see if there's an available download for your version.

Just got my phone, should be activated tomorrow and I will be able to see if the data settings work :bom:
