Please Help!! My Htc Touch Pro Keyboard Wont Work
 

i have a htc touch pro from alltel...ive had it for about 2 months and my keyboard jus stopped workin...wen i slide da fone up the keyboard will light up and then go out....it ackwardly works as long as im holdin the Spacebar tho.
PLEASE HELP!!!

I had this happen to my Sprint Touch Pro just last week. It just stopped working. Nothing i did worked. I took it to a Sprint Repair shop and they checked it out. They couldn't repair it so they ordered me a replacement. If you have ESRP you should be covered. (But i do not know what insurance alltell offers)

Mine started doing the same thing after I installed a cooked rom. Is it possible to damage the device with a non sprint rom? Even after reverting to stock it continued. It gradually got worse for me though to eventual complete non-operation.

sorry if i just dug up a thread, but i have a solution for you
the connector must have come out, and the space bar is not close enough to connect it. you have to push on the BATTERY to get it to work, as the battery is closer to the connector than the space bar
