Help me fix my last two issues!
 

I love my TP, have since I got it. Can't be more impressed with the functionality, design (although the creaky keyboard slider is annoying), etc. Since loaded up some custom ROMs (tried nearly them all) I am finally happy with everything the TP has.

I do however have two issues that have plagued me, for which I have no good answer.

1. Random System Pauses: Randomly I get some dramatic (sometimes up to 15 seconds) screen lag / system unresponsiveness. This occurs after a hard reset and did occur with all ROMs. I haven't yet (lazy me) tested if this same issue occurs without my 8GB Class6 MicroSD (possible cache / access issue?) but I would think it wouldn't be that.

2. Strange GPS Lock issue: Three times now... when I am in dire need (aka on the road travelling) the GPS won't lock. GPS Info shows 2 or 3 satillites but it doesn't find any more, and those 3 can have really strong signals. This happened directly after using the GPS (Garmin XT) successfully (first time it happened the next day after spending the night at a hotel and the next time it happened after I got off a plane - in which I did get a lock and saw my speed of 525mph)

Any suggestions on either of these two issues?

It may be your mem card. Do you have a lot of mp3's or hi-res photos?

Have you done the bored gps fix?

- I have several hundred photos on the SD card... only about 60 mp3.
- From my understanding, the BoredGPS fix was to help VzW TPs... I'm using a Sprint TP on VzW network only... so no I didn't do the BoredGPS Fix.

dang...my bad on the bored fix. I made the mistake of just looking at your carrier info. I've seen a thread or 2 in here describing your exact problem with the GPS. No fix though. They ended up getting a new phone to resolve the gps problem.

Not sure about your lag problem but it might be from htc album scanning for photos. Not sure though. I would say try using your phone without the mem card for a little while and see what happens.
