plug your phone in the computer with the 1gb card in
then copy all of the files on the memory card to your computer
disconnect your phone and put the new 4gb card in
connect your phone and copy all of the files back to your storage card
do this all through mycomputer not activsync

Use the adapter included with your new card, put the old 1g in the adapter and install in into your card reader. Go to computer under start menu on your pc, open your card, should be labled f drive. Open that up and download all it's content to a new folder in docs. This is way faster than from the tp. When completed, take out your 1 g and put in the new 4 g into the adapter, copy and paste all the downloads from the new folder in docs, you could also run a antivirus on your new folder to make sure it is safe. After installing all into your new 4g, go to property on your pc and do a disk check and defrag. Then your all good to go. God bless you man

Never ever do a defrag on a flash drive.

YOU can defrag flash drives only by using the defrag on your pc.
Most camera companies recommend defrag of the sd card, since the sd in your phone is the same as some cameras, it would seem that it is safe to defrag. This issue is posted all over the web. The choice is yours, God bless AMERICA...
