HUGE new TP defect...

Randomly yesterday, my screen stopped responding to every way I knew to turn it on. power button, no go, keyboard sliding open, no go, soft reset, no go.

hell, hard reset, no go!!!

Screen would not turn on, no matter what. But, while i was holding down the circle for the manual hard reset, i noticed the screen would work...

It is independing of Roms, and independent of radio, as I tried it on 3 diff Roms and 2 diff radios.

Anyone put their finger on why?

Slight workaround:

to flash a stock rom if you're going to return it to sprint, put it in bootloader (hold the power and volume down button and stick the stylus into the reset hole, don't remove your fingers for about 3 sec after you remove the stylus-you'll know it worked when it doesn't give you that soft-reset vibrate), and connect it to activesync, then you can flash even tho activesync doesn't look like it's working...

also, if you soft reset, hold down the center circle button, and KEEP IT HELD till you want your screen to disappear. I have no idea why this is this way, but it happened to me too and is unrelated to the ROM or radio..
