Activating a Sprint Touch Pro on Alltel
 

I know this question has been posted a couple of times before, but most responses seemed speculative. I'm wondering if it's possible to activate a Sprint phone on Alltel. Most TPs on Ebay are Sprint, and brother is looking at one. I'm wondering if someone else has done this, and what the steps are. As far as bad ESNs go, I know that they are carrier specific. And other carriers wont add ESNs from other networks to thiers ( tried when my brothers vogue got stolen last week). Anyways I'm gonna google some more and call Alltel and ask one of their brain dead reps, but any info from the community that knows what a smartphone can do is helpful.

I don't know if their policy has changed or they just got more strict with it, but I've done it in the past. About a year ago. It seems though that recently some people get lucky with getting a rep that will do it, but some of them will not.
