Here is a cab I saved many moons ago, cant remember if I got it from XDA..etc....it will disconnect the data connection after 60sec once the data has gone idle.
Just install and that is it....it does all the settings when installing |
Re: Auto disconnect Data?

This is from the TP Essentials http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42730 "Issues with answering your phone when a data connection is open (answer buttons don't do anything)? Looks like a tweak messes up a registry key that affects this. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings], make sure SuspendResume is set to #777 (not anything containing GPRS). This issue seems to be related to Advanced Config." I noticed you have the cant get the data arrows grayed out.....do you have a GSM Dialer install with the curtain...if i can remember there was a issue with GSM dialer ported to CDMA with the data arrows not going to idol and staying lit al the time. |

so far it works as advertised....doesn't have the incoming calls issue |
Re: Auto disconnect Data?
Hmm..While I thanked for the cab offered above, I can say that I have not had this call issue come up. I can receive calls and text messages no problem if I'm on the web. If it in fact disables the buttons I wouldn't notice because I use the slide to answer..At any rate I'm going to go ahead and use the supplied cab as the only thing I used DT for is the data disconnect.

Re: Auto disconnect Data?
people can still use DT and AC its no big deal just check the reg settings after using the Data Disconnect fuction to check if the #777 got replaced to something else like "GPRS" and if it did just put back the #777 via a reg edit program.
