Suggest word wont dissable?
 

Can I reg edit this or dl a cab. I went to settings, input, word completion, and unchecked suggest words when entering text. It has done nothing. I tried making it 0 in advance config and that did nothing as well.

I have no idea why its locked to suggest words and wont turn off.

Here is what I think happened if you care :)

I hard reset. Used pim back up to restore contacts, set settings and left the suggest icon checked instead of unchecked. used pim back up again this time to back up contacts and custom. I had to do another hard restart after deleted a wrong folder and not being able to retreave. I think the pim backup custom back up I did is confusing the phone to make it suggest words even when turned off.

Another tip, turn Xt9 off, sometimes it can be sneaky.

FN key on hard keyboard plus space bar. Change to ABC instead of T9.

Yeah I turned that off thinking the same thing. I also found that in the registry and it showed it as off. When I saw that I got worried I wasnt going to be able to dissable it lol.

Choose phone keypad and turn it to ABC instead of XT9. I know you said you tried it but make sure it's off in Phone keypad it seems to work like a master setting for my sprint touch.
