TV Video Out Question
 

Hey Guys,

Just got my tv video out wires in the mail and just tryed to hook everything up and the video comes out fine just the audio only works in the phone and not on the tv anything Im doing wrong here? Also I did download the cab file for tv out etc

do you know if you are getting both channels of audio out? if not, maybee you need to just try plugging the ends into the tv differently

What do u mean by both channells? Im getting volume on the phone and video on the TV

oh... I thought you said audio only works, and not the tv...

Which cable are you using??

When I hook up my video out, I immediately get both TV picture & stereo sound without doing anything else.

So when u plug it in you get audio on the tv and on the phone all at once or just the tv?

Have you tried it using through the little usb adapter that came with the phone?

Hi all, does anyone know where I can get the video out .cab file from? I ran across one once but didn't download it as I thought it was for Sprint stock ROMs only. Does anyone know where I can get a TV out .cab that will work with the VZ stock ROM? I would much appreciate a link to it or an attachment to a message. Thank you very much.

Doesn't the Verizon ROM already have that installed??

My phone is a Sprint TP but it's flashed & activated on Verizon. I am running Mighty ROM now, but when I first activated the phone I had flashed it with the leaked Verizon ROM.

I wasn't sure if the video out would work or not at that point, but the first time I plugged in the external video cord, it switched to landscape automatically & the external video screen popped up & worked just fine.

I use the video out everyday in my truck for Sling Mobile. I have a KILLER sound system & a 7" double DIN DVD/NAV screen in the truck. When I plug the phone into video out, it automatically connects the video to the NAV screen & the audio to the stereo sound & we get live TV (200 cable channels including all the "on demand" channels) from the SlingBox while driving down the road (it blows me away that it will do that).

how long did it take for you to get that wire from hong kong if i may ask? ive been looking to buy the cable for me but dont want it to take like a month to recieve from hong kong lol
