internet sharing using data connection!

usb to do internet on my laptop. i am on the road right now and i want to use the internet on my phone for my laptop. how do i do this?

on your phone click on start-programs-internet sharing, then click on connect, then plug the usb cable into phone and laptop.

when i do this it asks me to install the device and i need to find drivers.

You need to have ActiveSync installed on the laptop. You have windows XP on it?
