Did you click update PRI with a PRI that is not your carrier?

How would I change it back. That's what I get for not paying attention to what I was doing. |
Re: What would cause my MSL to change?
Well I think you would need to know what to change it too, I guess you could always call Sprint Customer Service, have them walk you through it. The guy at the store had never seen it before (But I don't know how much of anything he had seen), but I don't think it would be a problem...

Re: What would cause my MSL to change?
thats weird because i thought i wrote my msl down wrong because it wasn't working last week. i checked it again, and it was a completely different number. i know it was because it started with 612, which is the minnesota area code, and now it starts with 113. odd right? i hadn't used it in a month or so, but i did a hard reset and restored with a sprite backup and wanted to check a few things cause picmail wasn't working. i have no idea how/why it changed. it has never changed after a hard reset previously.

Re: What would cause my MSL to change?
I have the new one, but I'm guessing the update PRI wias the imfamouns 2.1.1 which reading around here is a BIG nono to run on the phone.
I've been with tech support for a couple hrs on and off and we cannot get the data back. He is miffed why the MSL changed but now I think i know why... the PRI. I've already flashed back to stock Sprint ROM but not sure if I can get a different PRI program to egt this thing back or what. |
Re: What would cause my MSL to change?
since you're back to a stock rom, do ##RTN# for a factory reset. that'll reset all the settings to factory default. the stock rom will reprogram the phone and get your data connection settings back. make sure to write down your MDN and MSID beforehand just in case.
