Nope, not in this case. It's te same phone I've always had. Used my old MSL about a month ago began with 556. Went to use it again today and that one didn't work. Use BAF to find it and it now begins with 037.

Did you click update PRI with a PRI that is not your carrier?

I had this same thing happen to me maybe a month and a half or two months ago. It seemed to happen out of nowhere, but neither my phone or data connection were working. I just went into the closest Sprint store, where they got my info and just reapplied it to my phone....I was running a custom ROM (don't recall which it was at the time) and just flashed back to Sprint ROM and went in....if you haven't fixed it as of yet this might help.

This could be it, I used the update pri that was in Juicy ROM... wonder if that was it.

How would I change it back.

That's what I get for not paying attention to what I was doing.

Well I think you would need to know what to change it too, I guess you could always call Sprint Customer Service, have them walk you through it. The guy at the store had never seen it before (But I don't know how much of anything he had seen), but I don't think it would be a problem...

thats weird because i thought i wrote my msl down wrong because it wasn't working last week. i checked it again, and it was a completely different number. i know it was because it started with 612, which is the minnesota area code, and now it starts with 113. odd right? i hadn't used it in a month or so, but i did a hard reset and restored with a sprite backup and wanted to check a few things cause picmail wasn't working. i have no idea how/why it changed. it has never changed after a hard reset previously.

I have the new one, but I'm guessing the update PRI wias the imfamouns 2.1.1 which reading around here is a BIG nono to run on the phone.
I've been with tech support for a couple hrs on and off and we cannot get the data back. He is miffed why the MSL changed but now I think i know why... the PRI.

I've already flashed back to stock Sprint ROM but not sure if I can get a different PRI program to egt this thing back or what.

since you're back to a stock rom, do ##RTN# for a factory reset. that'll reset all the settings to factory default. the stock rom will reprogram the phone and get your data connection settings back. make sure to write down your MDN and MSID beforehand just in case.
